Law to Impact HUB hosted the closing event of Support4Change

On Thursday, September 17, the Law to Impact HUB opened its doors for the closing event of the “Support4Change: Empathy through Education” project, an initiative by SHE – Society for Help & Empowerment dedicated to strengthening empathy, inclusive education, and the prevention of discrimination and gender based violence.

The evening was an opportunity to present the results and tools developed throughout the project, as well as to open a meaningful discussion on the role of education as a lever for social change.

As part of Support4Change, educational and informational materials were developed, tools were created for professionals and civil society, and awareness and training activities took place with the aim of cultivating a culture of respect, equality, and acceptance. Particular emphasis was placed on empathy as a skill and a way of life, and on how it can contribute to preventing violence, addressing stereotypes, and creating safer, more inclusive spaces.

During the event, the project’s activities and outputs were presented, and participants had the opportunity to exchange views on how knowledge and education can be turned into everyday practice and collective action.

Support4Change was implemented by SHE within the framework of the POWER programme, aiming to strengthen the capacity of organisations and professionals to recognise, prevent, and address gender based violence and discrimination. POWER is co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV 2023 DAPHNE) and is implemented under the coordination of We Word, in partnership with ActionAid Hellas and Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo.

For Law to Impact HUB, hosting this event carried particular significance. The completion of the project marks another step toward a society where equality, respect, inclusion, and empathy become an integral part of education and everyday life.
