On 10 July 2025, the Law To Impact HUB successfully hosted a roundtable discussion on “The Contribution of Creativity and Culture to Achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.” The event was part of Law To Impact’s #ArtSeries, which aims to advance the 2030 Agenda and the 17 UN SDGs.
The event drew academics, cultural professionals, local government representatives, civil society members and engaged citizens, confirming how strong the need is for open dialogue around sustainability, culture and social cohesion. The discussion highlighted the decisive role of art, creativity, tradition and the cultural and creative sectors as drivers of social transformation, while emphasising the need for institutional support, cross-sectoral collaboration and active civic participation.
Speakers included Anastasia Akritidou, ESG Legal Advisor and Founder of Law To Impact, Dimitris Kalemis, architect and member of the creative team at SOULFOOD, Giorgos Mantzouranidis, Copywriter and Founder of No Image Found, Lina Mylonaki, Head of the Film Office of the Region of Central Macedonia and PhD in Film Studies, and Lia Papadragka, journalist and President of the social cooperative Ecoroutes. The discussion was moderated by Stella Tsiarvoula, Creative-Cultural Manager and PhD candidate at the Department of Journalism and Mass Media at AUTh.
The evening peaked with contributions from the audience that opened up even more conversations. Following strong public demand, the #ArtSeries continues.
