On 23 November 2023, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Law To Impact HUB organised an open discussion in collaboration with the RESET H2020 European Project, in which the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki participated as one of seven consortium partners working towards gender equality and the empowerment of women in academia.
The discussion brought together representatives from academia, the legal community, civil society and specialists working on the protection of women and the prevention of violence. At the centre of the conversation: the scale of the problem in Thessaloniki, the legal tools available to women victims and the ways in which all of us can take action towards empowerment, awareness and effective prevention.
