On 26 February 2026, Law To Impact HUB co-organised an event dedicated to school mediation, on the occasion of the publication of “A Guide to School Mediation” by lawyer-mediator Maria Torori (Bookstagram Editions, 2025). The event was free to attend and addressed educators, parents, lawyers, psychologists, institutional bodies and students.
The discussion featured Maria Torori, lawyer, mediator and author, Anastasia Akritidou, Founder of Law To Impact, Afroditi Argyropoulou, accredited mediator and trainer, Theodoros Thanos, Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Ioannina and Scientific Director of the School Mediation Network, Chara Kanari, Assistant Professor at AUTh and Museum Educator, and Aliki Karavalasi, psychologist and Career Guidance Counsellor.
The evening centred on questions that concern everyone who lives and works alongside children: how school mediation can contribute to a healthier and safer school environment, what mechanisms exist for preventing and resolving conflicts, and how we address the multifaceted phenomenon of juvenile violence.
